East Point College of Physiotherapy celebrated its 4th Graduation Ceremony – INIZIO 2026, marking the graduation of 35 Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) students as they embarked on their professional journey in healthcare.
The ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. U. T. Iftikhar Fareed, Chairman, Karnataka State Allied & Healthcare Council and Syndicate Member, RGUHS, along with Sri S. V. Pramod Gowda and Sri S. V. Rajiv Gowda, CEOs of East Point Group of Institutions, and other distinguished dignitaries.
A key highlight of the event was the Graduation Oath and Tassel Turning Ceremony, symbolizing the graduates' commitment to ethical practice, compassion, and professional excellence. Academic achievers were honoured, with Dr. Dhanya S Kumar (PT) receiving the Best Outgoing Student Award 2026.
The ceremony reflected East Point's commitment to nurturing skilled, ethical, and compassionate physiotherapists dedicated to improving lives and advancing healthcare through excellence and service.

East Point Hospital in collaboration with Government of Karnataka, organized the Pulse Polio Immunization drive on March 3rd, 2024, as part of the nationwide Pulse Polio immunization drive. This initiative aimed to administer oral polio vaccine to children below the age of five years.
In alignment with our dedication to the well-being of our community's future, we ensured that children in this age group received the essential oral polio vaccine. We extend our gratitude to all the dedicated healthcare professionals and volunteers whose efforts contributed to the success of this drive. Together, we are safeguarding our children and laying the foundation for a healthier tomorrow.
The inauguration of the Football & Basketball Court at East Point "Jnanaprabha" campus, Bangalore took place on February 22nd, 2024. Smt. B.L. Ramadevi Venkatpathi, our beloved Chairperson, inaugurated the court. The ceremony was graced by Sri S.V. Pramod Gowda, Trustee & CEO, EPGI, Sri S.V. Rajiv Gowda, Trustee & CEO, EPGI, Dr. Prakash S, Sr. Vice President, EPGI and all the Heads of the Institutions, Teaching, non-teaching and students. The event brought together students, faculty, and guests in a jubilant atmosphere, reflecting EPGI's ethos of unity. The unveiling of the new facilities was met with enthusiasm, embodying the excitement within the community. Students from East Point College of Engineering and Technology (EPCET) and East Point College of Higher Education (EPCHE) participated in "SPARDHA 23," the State Level Intercollegiate Sports Fest hosted by CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore, on December 14th, 2023, and emerged as the champions in the Throwball Tournament! The management, Heads of the Institutions, and all the teaching & non-teaching staff at East Point congratulated the team for their outstanding achievement.
