











Graduating Engineering and Technology professionals step into the industry with a strong commitment to Innovation, Ethics and Societal Service
Bengaluru, July 27, 2026 – East Point College of Engineering & Technology (EPCET) hosted its Graduation Day 2026 at its campus “Jnanaprabha,” marking a proud milestone as graduating engineering students stepped into the next chapter of their professional journey.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. G. Parameshwara, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister of Karnataka, and Guest of Honor Sri K. Govindaraj, Member of Legislative Council, Government of Karnataka. The occasion was also graced by Smt. B. L. Ramadevi Venkatpathi, Chairperson, East Point Group of Institutions (EPGI); Sri S. V. Pramod Gowda and Sri S. V. Rajiv Gowda, Trustees & CEOs of East Point Group of Institutions, Bengaluru.
Chief Guest Dr. G. Parameshwara inaugurated the Graduation Day 2026 ceremony at East Point College of Engineering & Technology, Bengaluru, and addressed the graduating students. Congratulating the 527 engineering graduates, he wished them success in their careers and encouraged them to prepare themselves for the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly evolving world.
Dr. Pradipkumar Dixit, Principal, East Point College of Engineering & Technology, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the institution's academic excellence, achievements, milestones, and accomplishments over the past academic year.
The event paid tribute to Founder Chairman Dr. S. M. Venkatpathi, honoring his enduring legacy and reaffirming EPGI’s commitment to quality education. Degrees were conferred upon 527 undergraduate and postgraduate students representing multiple engineering disciplines. In celebration of academic excellence, individual departmental awards were presented alongside special recognitions for the Best Student of each Department and the Best Student of the Institution.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, parents, alumni, and organizing committee for making the Graduation Day a memorable occasion.






East Point Group of Institutions hosted "Coffee with HR", an interactive industry session themed "HR Unfiltered," bringing together leading HR professionals to help students understand what employers truly seek beyond academic scores.
The panelists shared practical insights into recruitment, resume building, interview preparation, and workplace expectations, emphasizing that communication skills, adaptability, problem- solving, and continuous learning are as important as academic performance. The session also featured an engaging Q&A, where students interacted directly with HR leaders on career choices and workplace challenges.
Addressing the gathering, Sri S. V. Rajiv Gowda, CEO, East Point Group of Institutions, highlighted the institution's commitment to developing industry-ready graduates through meaningful industry engagement. Dr. G. S. Yogesh, Vice-Principal, East Point College of Engineering & Technology, spoke about initiatives that bridge the gap between academia and industry through experiential learning and strong corporate collaborations.

East Point Group of Institutions hosted EPILC 2026 (East Point Industry Leadership Conclave), bringing together senior leaders from global organizations to strengthen industry-academia collaboration under the theme "Shaping the Future Workforce."
The conclave featured an insightful panel discussion on "Building Sustainable Talent Pipelines: The Role of Institutions in a Changing Workforce," where industry experts highlighted the importance of learning agility, adaptability, curriculum innovation, and industry-integrated learning in preparing students for evolving careers.
Addressing the gathering, Sri S. V. Rajiv Gowda, CEO, East Point Group of Institutions, emphasized that EPILC is a leadership platform focused on building long-term industry partnerships and preparing students for real-world challenges. Student placement coordinators actively engaged with corporate delegates, gaining valuable exposure to professional practices.
With over 90% partnership intent from participating organizations and a 4.7/5 satisfaction rating, EPILC 2026 reaffirmed East Point's commitment to creating a future-ready workforce through meaningful industry collaboration.






AIKYA 2024 – the National Technical Fest organized by the IEEE Student Branch of East Point College of Engineering and Technology – was a grand celebration of innovation, knowledge, and technical prowess. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 89 teams across Karnataka, competing in five dynamic and challenging events. Students showcase their talent, creativity, and problem-solving skills, fostering a spirit of collaboration and healthy competition. AIKYA 2024 served as a vibrant platform for budding engineers to exchange ideas, network with peers, and explore emerging technologies. The fest not only highlighted the technical excellence of participants but also reflected the institution's commitment to nurturing future-ready engineers.





East Point College of Engineering and Technology, Bengaluru, hosted “VIBRATIONS 2K25” on May 14, 2025 — a grand final-year Project Exhibition and Competition at the Higher Education Quadrangle. Over 120 innovative student and faculty projects were showcased across domains like Engineering, Science, Environment, and Social Innovation. Chief Guest Sri. S. V. Rajiv Gowda, CEO of EPGI, inaugurated the event, which featured cutting-edge prototypes including a Semi-Pilot Electric Vehicle (SPEV), smart earthquake-resistant bridge, agricultural drones, and assistive devices for the differently-abled. The SPEV, designed by students Mr. Pavan K, Ms. Archana, and Mr. Lokesh M S, focused on sustainable urban mobility. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, along with evaluation by industry experts. Prizes were awarded to top projects, and a souvenir compiling all project abstracts was released. EPCET continues to foster innovation and leadership among students for a better tomorrow.





The inauguration of the Football & Basketball Court at East Point "Jnanaprabha" campus, Bangalore took place on February 22nd, 2024. Smt. B.L. Ramadevi Venkatpathi, our beloved Chairperson, inaugurated the court. The ceremony was graced by Sri S.V. Pramod Gowda, Trustee & CEO, EPGI, Sri S.V. Rajiv Gowda, Trustee & CEO, EPGI, Dr. Prakash S, Sr. Vice President, EPGI and all the Heads of the Institutions, Teaching, non-teaching and students. The event brought together students, faculty, and guests in a jubilant atmosphere, reflecting EPGI's ethos of unity. The unveiling of the new facilities was met with enthusiasm, embodying the excitement within the community. Every court is a platform for greatness, where playing with passion and purpose helps to establish a legacy of excellence. Together, let's inspire the next generation of athletes and forge lasting memories on these courts.






The Graduation Day 2023 for MBA Graduates at East Point College of Higher Education was indeed a grand affair held at the Higher Education Block on December 20th, 2023, commencing at 11:00 AM. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Prof. S.R. Niranjana, Vice Chairman of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council and former Vice Chancellor of Gulbarga University, Kalaburgi, serving as the Chief Guest. Smt. B.L. Ramadevi, our beloved Chairperson, EPGI, Sri S.V. Pramod Gowda, Sri S.V. Rajiv Gowda, Trustees & CEOs, EPGI, Sri Peter Francis, Secretary, M.G. Charitable Trust, Bangalore, and Dr. Prakash S, Sr. Vice President of EPGI graced the occasion. It was truly a day to commemorate the academic journey of the graduating class and celebrate their achievements, with these esteemed personalities adding to the significance of the occasion.




Students from East Point College of Engineering and Technology (EPCET) and East Point College of Higher Education (EPCHE) participated in "SPARDHA 23," the State Level Intercollegiate Sports Fest hosted by CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore, on December 14th, 2023, and emerged as the champions in the Throwball Tournament! The management, Heads of the Institutions, and all the teaching & non-teaching staff at East Point congratulated the team for their outstanding achievement.






The Inauguration of First Year B.E Programs & Student Induction Program for the Academic Year 2023-24 took place at the Higher Education Block Quadrangle on September 11th, 2023, commencing at 10:00 AM. Dr. B.K Das, Distinguished Scientist and Director General of Electronics and Communication Systems at Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Bengaluru, was the Chief Guest.
