Bachelor of Pharmacy is an undergraduate program in the field of Pharmacy. It is a comprehensive course delves into the intricate realm of medicines, exploring their effects on the human body, and providing in-depth knowledge about the chemical and organic properties of the elements employed. The primary goal of this program is to educate and train individuals to become competent pharmacy professionals.

During the course, students learn about various aspects of pharmacy, including the properties and effects of medicines on the human body, pharmaceutical analysis, dosage forms, drug delivery systems, and the principles of drug action. The curriculum often includes subjects such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical Management.

This program is structured to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills through laboratory work and internships. Graduates of B.Pharmacy programs are equipped to work in diverse sectors of the pharmaceutical industry, including research and development, manufacturing, quality control, regulatory affairs, and clinical pharmacy. Students can opt for a master of Pharmacy after completion of B.Pharm.

Candidates should be qualified in Higher secondary/ PUC/ Intermediate/10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in science stream Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology conducted by State or Central Board.
For Lateral Entry, Candidate holding D Pharmacy can be directly admitted to 2nd year B. Pharmacy
