The Department of Commerce / Faculty of Commerce, established in 1999, is affiliated with Bangalore North University (BNU) and approved by the Government of Karnataka offering BCom and MCom Programs.
The BCom program readies students for roles in Accounting and Finance, integrating IT and e-commerce. Specializations in financial markets, marketing, and human resources cater to diverse aspirations. The MCom program offers a two-year postgraduate course, emphasizing global perspectives, managerial skills, and analytical abilities for challenges at national and global levels.

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is a three-year undergraduate program providing students with a robust foundation in commerce, business, and economics. The diverse curriculum encompasses subjects like accounting, finance, marketing, economics, business law, and management, aiming to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for a successful business career. Job roles for BCom graduates encompass a variety of positions, including Accountant, Financial Analyst, Auditor, Tax Consultant, Business Consultant, Financial Planner, Banking Professional, Market Research Analyst, Entrepreneur, Management Trainee, and Government jobs, offering diverse opportunities.

- To give an insight into the areas of Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Marketing, Human Resource Management and the new developments in Business Management
- To prepare students for professions in the field of Accounting and Finance and provide exposure to the latest developments relating to the field of Accounting & Finance
- To incentivize the development of personal and executive skills in the students with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of decision making and strengthening the problem detection, analysis and solving skills
